This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Waikato contractor, taking the lead on commercial delivery across projects typically ranging from $1M – $25M.

The Role

You will take ownership of the commercial aspects of projects, working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, and Design Consultants.

Key responsibilities:

• Full cost management across the project lifecycle
• Procurement strategy and subcontractor management
• Contract administration, variations and claims
• Budget control, forecasting and reporting
• Leading commercial outcomes on projects between $1M – $25M

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior QS within the NZ commercial construction market
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects valued at $20M and below
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Able to operate autonomously and take full ownership of projects
• Confident communicator with a collaborative, team-focused approach
