Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Construction – Hamilton

Currently, an opportunity awaits for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our esteemed client, a leading commercial main contractor based in Hamilton. 

The team are a tight knit bunch who like to have a laugh! The team, dedicated professionals, including four members in the QS team, and supported by five Site Managers and direct laborers on site.

In this role, you’ll delve into a diverse array of projects, spanning education, warehouse office developments, industrial and fit-outs, ranging from $2 million to $8 million.

Day to Day:

• In the QS role you will be working both sides of the project from estimation to serving the project
• Must be someone comfortable working with subcontractors and clients 
• Must have the ability to measure
• Assistance with initial costing’s and construction methodology
• Tenders and evaluation
• Preparation of costing documents and time schedules
• Subcontractor payment claims and general management
• Client Progress Payments and invoicing
• Monthly cost reports and forecasts
